Styx announces throwback tour this fall
Styx has just announced a special throwback tour like nothing they’ve ever done before.
This fall, Styx will travel the U.S. playing–in their entirety–the songs from their 1977 and 1978 albums–The Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight, respectively.
The Grand Illusion/Pieces of Eight Tour kicks off Oct. 14 at The Centre in Evansville, Ind. and runs through Nov. 13 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta.
Along the way, they will be playing at the Palace Theater in Columbus, Ohio on Oct. 17; the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 27; the Warner Theater in Erie, Penn. on Nov. 5 and more!
Not only will the current members of Styx (Tommy Shaw, JY Young, Lawrence Gowan, Todd Sucherman and Ricky Phillips) be at every performance, but the band’s original bassist Chuck Panozzo will also be making special appearances at various stops!
